Council of Representatives Meetings


The Council of Representatives is the second highest decision making authority in CESAR after the general membership. The Council exists to ensure all members are democratically represented at meetings by their Representative on the Council. The Council gives direction to the CESAR Board of Directors between General Members’ Meetings.

The Council of Representatives typically meets once per term. The next Council meeting is:

Spring/Summer Council Meeting Wednesday, June 1, 5-6:30p.m.
Student Centre, 55 Gould St., in the Thomas Lounge

Fall Council Meeting Thursday, October 20, 5-6:30p.m.
Student Centre, 55 Gould St., in the Oakham Lounge

Semi-Annual General Meeting All members welcome.
Thursday, November 17, 5:30-7:00p.m.
Student Centre, 55 Gould St., in the Thomas Lounge

Special General Members’ Meeting Wednesday, February 1, 5-6:30p.m.
Student Centre, 55 Gould St., in the Oakham Lounge

The meeting will approve the 2015-2016 audit, propose by-law changes and have an election to fill the vacant Member at Large position on the board.

YOU ARE REPRESENTED

The Council is made up of Class Representatives who are selected by their course section. If your course doesn’t have a Class Rep, you can volunteer to represent your class!

Every course section is entitled to two Class Reps on the Council and one alternate.

Each meeting includes a delicious free dinner, and is a great chance to meet other students.

MOTION
