Part-time degree students are automatically enrolled in CESAR’s Health & Dental Plan for an annual charge of $177.51. The plan includes drug coverage up to 80%, dental coverage up to 65% and other extended health benefits.
Students with comparable, alternative coverage can opt-out by the deadline for a full refund.
The CESAR Health and Dental Plan is offered through Green Shield, Canada’s only national not-for-profit insurance provider. If you are enrolling in the Fall 2017 term, you may opt-out if you have comparable coverage. The opt-out period takes place during the first month of the term, with a firm deadline and no exceptions.
You are not eligible if you are:
- Enrolled in Certificate Program
- Enrolled in a Chang School course but not in a part-time degree program
- Enrolled in a part-time graduate program
Eligible part-time degree students will pay the following rates the Plan for the 2017-2018 academic year:

Plan fees are charged to your Ryerson account, along with your tuition fees.
